Coming Out of Hiding, Thank You and Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

Writing this post is strange because I don't want to come off as a whiny, "woe is me,"
43 year old brat whose favorite pastime is vaguebooking.
I'm also not in the "share every detail" camp.  For the record, I have no problem with either camp.
It is lovely to know that how I live doesn't bother you and vice versa.
I once heard heard a prejudice described as getting mad at the person before you in line
because you didn't like what they ordered.  Genius.
But you need to pick a place to sleep, and I pick Camp Nacho Beezness.  Not because it's the best camp, but because my people have too much on their plates already and don't need me to add more unless it's pressing.  Plus, that's just how I am.
Okay fine, their smores are the best.  Give me all the smores.

Now, back to my point, I love this business, my work and my clients - the big ones and the small ones,
so I feel like I need to tell you that I am still here, and you can trust me with your people.
I am still delivering the same beautiful, moving and consistent work as usual, but I have been a bit slower
and most anything web based has not been a priority.
It has been a strange eight months, and I feel like I am finally on top of, instead of climbing, the mountain.  I can't complain because (1) so many people face more numerous and much more serious health problems and (2) all seems well now,
but I also don't want you to think I'm just slow or, worse, don't care about your images.
Thank you for your patience, your concern, your friendship, and this can not be overstated, your trust.
I know how many options you have when it comes to photography.  That you choose not only professional portraits, but me, to capture the life of your family continues to be an honor.

So, I will end this post with those thank yous and two more.
That I won this award at all is so wonderful - thank you!
That you voted for me during this mess is a hug that I will never forget - thank you!
